Foreward by Legendary photographer Harry Benson Harry Benson, CBE was born in Glasgow and is an internationally renowned photographer. His pictures have appeared in many publications including Life, Architectural Digest, Vanity Fair, People and The New Yorker. With a glittering career spanning sixty years already behind him, Benson continues to work from his adopted home of New York, where he lives with his wife Gigi. Many of Bensons amazing images are well known throughout the world. His first international break came when he was assigned to travel with The Beatles to America in 1964. The most famous photographs taken during this tour are of the band jumping up and down on a bed whilst engaging in a pillow fight after hearing the news that their record, "I Want to Hold Your Hand" had reached number one. Other celebrities Benson has photographed include Brad Pitt, Amy Winehouse, Michael Jackson, Mick Jagger, Andy Warhol, Liza Minnelli, Ray Charles, Paul McCartney, Muhammad Ali, Princess Diana, Greta Garbo, Frank Sinatra and Elizabeth Taylor. He has also taken photos of political figures, including every US president since Dwight D. Eisenhower. Bensons outstanding work has been the subject of numerous exhibitions worldwide which have all received critical acclaim.
