About Joe Mcelderry Thursday, August 26, 2010
If you want to learn some information about Joe Mcelderry from X factor then I think I can help you out. I am a big fan of Joe Mcelderry and after doing a lot of research online and reading about him in the local newspapers have found out a lot about the great little singer appearing in X Factor this year. Here are some of the main facts about him.
Joseph is currently 18 years old and is from the South Shields area of Newcastle which is in the north of England near Scotland. He lives at home with his family and is currently a student. he has had a crush on Cheryl Cole for a long time and they are both from the same area of Newcastle.
Joe Mcelderry sang a song called 'dance with my father' at his audition in Newcastle to get into the X factor. Cheryl Cole said "You had me at hello". She is mentoring Joe throughout the show too and explains on the show that he is like a little brother to her. They both sing and are from the same area so Joe Mcelderry and her have quite a bit in common.
When Joe has been on the show he has had to live inside the house with the other contestants. He has according to rumours started a relationship with Stacey Solomon who is another contestant in the house. These rumours have not been definitely confirmed as of yet.
He has been seen singing Karaoke on the internet with housemate on the show Lucie Jones. They were singing Grease songs from the musical It looked like great fun.
It is widely thought that Joe is one of the favourites to win the whole of X Factor 2009. he has looks, a smooth voice and likability factor with his always present smile. He has never been in the bottom two so far but he has some stiff competition from other male acts in the competition. Vote for Joe mcelderry to win. He s great!

Cheap Hotels in Newcastle Upon Tyne
I have always thought getting cheap flights to and booking a cheap hotel room in Newcastle is going to be difficult considering the average level of my income, but the way the whole trip played out was fascinating. I have been planning for the trip before last November but of cause my office boss won't release me not until a few weeks to Christmas. I did some researching on the internet for the phrase cheap flights and hotels and what it returned was worth looking into.
After the show with my office and the booking, I set for the journey on the 9th of December. I got to Newcastle on the morning of the 10th which was a Thursday. Any tourist would love this city. Right from the Newcastle International Airport I took a Metro Light Rail system to the city center-6 miles to the main center of the city. But one thing I have noticed is the diverse in the cross section of city. As there were places for the riches so also are places for the poor, but in general the city is a magnificent. Here are the tourist attractions
The Gateshead Millennium Bridge
Due to the many waterways in Newcastle there are many bridges that could make impression on one but the one I really think make the most impression on me is the Gateshead Millennium Bridge, popularly called the "Blinking Eye. I don't think I have seen this type of bridge before now. Leaving the bridge, I went to see the quay side and other bridges in Tyne. And oh it gets lovely even more. These places are cosmopolitan areas with restaurants and bars and places to sit or stand and watch river Tyne.
The Theaters
I visited many theatres like the theatre Royal on Grey Street and the Journal Tyne Theatre. There are also many more.
The nightlife in this city is magnificent. I discovered it wasn't a lie as I have read somewhere that this city is a fun loving city. There are many night clubs and bars that will stay opened until late in the night with everyone have fun.
Chinatown is also in Newcastle which is the center of carnivals. They celebrate the Chinese New Year annually.
Moreover, there are many more places one can visit like the fascinating St. James' Park-A football stadium.
Think of Newcastle on your next holiday.

Newcastle - Its Colourful History and Its Quiet Beauty
The history of Newcastle is a colourful one. It was a place to keep hardened convicts who have become too difficult to manage. These convicts earned the city a very negative reputation. However, the city thrived on transporting coal through their main waterway, and this has changed how the city was viewed. It changed from a convict area to an industrial one. The coal was mined from Hunter Valley then distributed around Australia and other countries. Mostly because of this bustling coal trade in the river works that the city was once called Coal River. Because of these mines, the city became an industrial and grimy one. It is in stark contrast with the elegant Sydney located nearby.
The city has undergone a major overhaul since then. Productions in most of the industrial areas have stopped, and the slag that has polluted the area is being treated. Also, the grime and soot that have once covered the city in dark presence were scraped. The city sparkled in its clean makeover and is now home to riverside gardens and entertainment centres. The beaches have been combed clean; surfers and divers have found their way into these sandy shores. No longer is this city a grimy comparison of Sydney-it bustles with tourist activity in its sparkled new look.
There are also dolphin cruises around Nelson Bay and may cover Hawk's Nest and Anna Bay. Windsurfing and waterskiing activities are also offered.
A holiday in Newcastle will surely immerse the tourist in its history. Heritage sites and buildings will take you back in time. The roads will guide you to the wine country, filled with colourful grapes and berries. Acres of vineyard are ready to greet the visitor with bursts of colour and fragrance. The red Explorer bus allows the inquisitive tourists to get off the bus anywhere and anytime they want, so they could explore the place as long as they want to; then they can take the bus again and resume their sightseeing anytime they choose to go back.
Adventure seekers looking for a DIY holiday in Newcastle can rent their choice of car and navigate the area with the detailed maps. There are maps that will take you to the wine countries or to the waterways to wherever it is that you fancy.
Finding a Newcastle Accommodation
Newcastle accommodation can offer you budget-friendly to high-end cottages, apartments, and hotels. The tourist can choose from the many hotels and apartments that offer deluxe services. There are bed-and-breakfast inns, as well as vacation rental homes, which are inexpensive and allow the tourist a taste of true-blue Australian culture. Finding parking spaces for your car will be easy with the spacious areas around these accommodations.
Most of the Newcastle accommodation will accept credit cards and traveller's cheques. This is preferable especially to the tourist who is always on-the-go, or to one who doesn't like to carry huge amount of cash. This ensures a safer and more convenient vacation.
Every tourist's holiday should be the best experience; that is why the perfect accommodation will give the tourist the peace of mind that he needs to enjoy his vacation.
